Oliver Martin is a London based photographer who works worldwide on a range of commissions and personal fine art projects.

His work has appeared in galleries such as Photofusion, SW1, Oxo Tower, and Four Corners Gallery. He was a finalist in the 2016 BJP Portrait of Britain competition which was exhibited on JCDecaux screens nationwide, on bus stops, high streets and in train stations, as part of the biggest exhibition of contemporary portraiture ever held.

Oliver’s unique skill is in communicating authentic moments. In deeply honest images, he captures the slightest of emotions and gestures which uncover, or hint at, something more.

He is passionate about stories and the true nature of things, in music, art and life and he is passionate about telling his own stories; for Alfred Dunhill he was commissioned to travel to Camdeboo, a remote area of South Africa and home to a special type of Angora goat, the fleece of which is used in Alfred Dunhill’s finest Blazers and suits. He has been commissioned to photograph stories of leather workers in Walthamstow, Bespoke gun makers Purdey of Mayfair as well as working closely with Waitrose, Canon, Royal Ascot, Burberry and many more.

His latest fine art personal project explores the people and land along the Thames Estuary – Landscapes and portraits from remote areas like the Hoo Peninsular to traditional seaside towns like Southend-on-Sea. He says the Estuary has a feeling of possibility, secret and mystery.

Whether he’s working on commissions or personal work Oliver’s way of photographing reveals a genuine sense of realism and truth.

He values close collaboration with clients and has an extensive network of specialist industry professionals, to help realise a brief and maximise the project potential.
